My Morning Adventure
The mid-morning sun hit me like a bullet. The bitter taste of dry saliva filled my taste buds. My head lay still next to a puddle of my lost saliva. I slept with my mouth open! I must have been knocked out pretty good. I sighed and veered towards the direction of the clock, 7:30. It took exactly half a second to process this information and when it did a sudden scream pierced the silence."Seven, thirty!" Quickly I leaped out of the bed only to get caught in the mess, that is my room. Step after step of dodging the shirts, pants, and games left me at the edge of my room, inches away from my closet. I was a blur, picking out whatever fresh clothes I had at my disposal while I tried to take off the old ones. After smothering my body with a gallon of colon, I took another glance at the clock, 7:40! No, no, no! I rushed through the halls the smell of bacon filling the air. I listened to the growl from my belly but soon realized I had no time. I got my bag and finally got out of the house. Staring right at me was the bright yellow school bus. With the last amount of energy I had within me I ran. I could hear the engine of the bus roar to life. "Stop!" I shrieked. My only answer came, the bus doors opened, welcoming me inside. I panted as I entered the bus. I looked over at the crowd of students holding back laughter and smirks. I looked down. Oh no!
